Today morning, a number of civilians were killed and injured in a car bomb attack in northern rural Idlib. The perpetrators of the attack are unknown.
Quoting Syrian Civil Defense (SCD), SY24 correspondent reported that four civilians have been killed and at least ten others have been injured after a car bomb exploded on the agricultural road between al-Dana and Sarmada cities in northern rural Idlib.
Meanwhile, activists indicated that the blast took place in front of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) building near al-Dana city causing an enormous damage to citizens’ properties.
SCD teams arrived to the scene immediately to recover the bodies of the victims and rescue injured civilians to the nearby field hospitals.
This attack was the latest of a series of assassinations, car bombs and IED attacks underscoring the rampant insecurity in Idlib and rural Idlib which has resulted in a number of people, mostly military, killed and injured.
It’s worth noting that five civilians were killed yesterday, in addition to a number of others, including women and children, injured after military warplanes fired two missiles at Mishmishan village in rural Jisr al-Shughur. SCD teams in the area arrived to the scene to recover the bodies, rescue to victims and secure the area.
