On Wednesday, February 21st, regime’s military police carried out a security operation in al-Tall city in rural Damascus, arresting dozens of young men and taking them to an unknown destination.
Local sources stated, “In an unprecedented operation, the military police raided residential homes and dozens of stores. More than 20 young men were arrested to be forcibly recruited”.
On December 2nd 2017, Regime security branches carried out a similar operation in al-Tall city where 40 young men were arrested to be drafted to compulsory and reserve service.
It’s worth noting that between December 2016 and mid-November 2017, approximately 400 people were arrested by the regime forces in al-Tall.
