Jewelry Stores Theft Prevails in Damascus

Jewelry stores theft is now on the rise as security forces fail to pursue and arrest theft gangs.

Pro-regime media outlets reported, “A jewelry store owner has filed a complaint at the criminal security branch in Damascus after an unknown man had stolen 13 million SYP worth of jewelry”.

The thief, who has changed his facial features, has managed to steal 30 gold coins, eight ounces of gold and two gold sets by misleading the store owner and claiming that he was buying jewelry with the money sent by his son who lives in Sweden.

It’s worth noting that theft is prevailing in most of regime-held cities as regime forces fail to arrest some of the gangs due to their affiliation with paramilitary groups.
