Nawa Local Council in Dara’a Rehabilitates School

In the framework of supporting the education process in rural Dara’a, the local council in the city of Nawa, and in coordination with the “Tatweer” program, launched a new project with the objective of rehabilitating one of the city’s schools, which had previously been bombed, and partially destroyed.

In an interview with SY24, one of the project’s supervisors, and Nawa LC member, Mr. Mohammed Al-Gharwi, said, “We are rehabilitating the Nawa 15 school, after it was partially destroyed because of the regime’s air bombardment. The maintenance work included repairing the windows and doors, and cementing the walls, and painting them”.

In his turn, the Tatweer project coordinator told SY24 that the rehabilitation of the school is pushing the education process forward, and has secured education for many students who haven’t been going to school in the last period.
