Russian Police Deployed to South of Damascus

On Wednesday, May 9th Russian military police was deployed to the villages and towns south of Damascus.

According to local sources, “Following the departure of the 6th convoy of evacuees, Russian military police entered Babila, Beit Sahem and Yalda villages and towns”.

Sources indicated, “One young man threw rocks at the Russian police in Beit Sahem town, and a mortar shell, likely fired by Iranian forces stationed in Sayyidah Zaynab, hit the town”.

Regime flags were also flown at residential buildings in Beit Sahem town whilst the 7th convoy of evacuees was preparing to depart towards northern Syria.
