The chief negotiator for the Syrian Negotiations Commission, Dr Naser al-Hariri emphasized, “The Syrian regime is carrying out its promise to get rid of its chemical arsenal in Syria… By dropping it onto eastern Ghouta, Idlib and its countryside”.
Al-Hariri outlined, “The images comings from Idlib are shocking. I have no words to describe these crimes committed by the regime, amidst the deafening silence of the international community”.
“The world’s silence in response to the chemical attacks launched by the regime and its allies in Ghouta, has allowed the regime to indulge in using chemical weapons against civilians in Idlib”.
This comes after Assad helicopters dropped chlorine ‘barrel bombs’ onto the residential neighborhoods in Saraqib city in eastern rural Idlib, leading to 13 suffocation cases among civilians.
